This morning we left Winchester and drove to Bognor Regis on the English south coast. We travelled down here to attend the Goodwood Festival of Speed which is an annual event.

Since we had a bit of washing to do and needed to buy groceries for our 8 day stay here, we used the motorways and arrived in about an hour. We got onto the M3 at Winchester then turned onto the M27 and then continued on the A27 when the motorway ended. This is indicated by a sign but the road layout changed little from dual carriageway.

When we arrived in Chichester we popped up to Goodwood to have a look at the parking facilities for the big 3 day event before heading down to our rental flat Bognor Regis.

The event was well signposted until the last roundabout when we almost turned into the Rolls Royce factory but a burly bloke on the gate pointed us in the right direction!

The flat we have booked is cosy and clean and has everything we need.

Now for the big event....
